On August 6, GLP Japan announced the launch of "ALFALINK Joint Distribution," a collaborative service with tenant companies and transportation providers at its logistics facilities, "GLP ALFALINK Sagamihara" (Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) and "GLP ALFALINK Nagareyama" (Nagareyama City, Chiba Prefecture).
The joint delivery service reduces the number of trucks used by Sagawa Express and JP Logistics, which previously handled deliveries to tenant companies using their respective trucks. This is achieved by consolidating some of JP Logistics' shipments onto Sagawa Express.

In the trial delivery, we confirmed that the truck loading rate improved by an average of 30%, the average driver working hours per day were reduced by 2 hours, and the average truck mileage was reduced by 6 km.
"GLP ALFALINK Sagamihara" is home to eight major transportation companies, promoting collaborative efforts to improve transportation efficiency, and joint delivery was made possible through the continuous development of relationships with the tenant companies.
Starting with this initiative, GLP Japan plans to promote similar initiatives at other "ALFALINK" facilities and expand them nationwide.
