On August 6th, Timee announced that it would acquire all shares of Sukima Works, which operates "Sukima Works," a matching site for short-term part-time jobs that can be done in spare time, and make it a group company.
Leveraging the expertise of both companies, the aim is to further develop the spot work industry in order to address labor shortages in the logistics industry and create employment opportunities for workers.
SukimaWorks has been providing services since 2019. It specializes in business process outsourcing (BPO) operations in the logistics warehouse sector.
In the operation of logistics centers, Sukimaworks employees are stationed on-site as the person in charge (center manager), which has supported stable operations and helped to solve human resource challenges.
Furthermore, in order to reduce the burden of accepting temporary workers, Timee has been working to assign leader employees who can be entrusted with acceptance support tasks, mainly in the logistics and food manufacturing industries.
According to Timee, logistics companies promoting the reduction of the burden of accepting workers have seen a 3.8-fold increase in the number of workers they recruit compared to 2024 and 2025, demonstrating the creation of new employment opportunities.
The aim of becoming a group company is to further expand outsourcing and contract work, thereby helping to alleviate labor shortages.
