Japan Post will revise its basic Yu-Mail postage rates on November 1st.
The nationwide flat-rate basic fare will increase by 10 to 20 yen in four categories: "up to 150g," "up to 250g," "up to 500g," and "up to 1kg."
Amid rising costs such as fuel prices and labor expenses impacting business operations, the company stated that it has revised its prices in order to improve productivity through operational efficiency measures such as digitalization, while also providing stable and high-quality services in the future.
