According to the third-quarter financial results for the fiscal year ending September 2025, announced by Yokohama Reito on August 13, net sales were 95.266 billion yen (up 4.5% year-on-year), operating profit was 3.709 billion yen (down 8.3%), ordinary profit was 3.278 billion yen (up 13.1%), and net profit attributable to parent company shareholders was 2.289 billion yen (up 37.4%).
By segment, the refrigerated warehouse business recorded sales of 27.431 billion yen (up 7.4%) and operating profit of 5.819 billion yen (up 0.4%).
In the refrigerated warehouse business, there were factors that weighed down profits, such as one-time expenses and increased depreciation costs when setting up three new logistics centers. However, incoming volume, outgoing volume, and inventory levels all exceeded the previous period, and price negotiations progressed due to rising costs such as labor and power, contributing to increased revenue.
At its consolidated subsidiary, Taiyo Korei, both incoming and outgoing goods increased, but the volume of goods handled and inventory of its main products, livestock products and dairy products, decreased, resulting in increased revenue but decreased profit.
For the full year, the company projects net sales of 127 billion yen (up 3.9%), operating profit of 4.25 billion yen (down 8.6%), ordinary profit of 4.15 billion yen (down 13.7%), and net profit attributable to parent company shareholders of 28 billion yen (down 28.8%).
