Maruzen Showa Transport held a groundbreaking ceremony on August 5th for its new warehouse to be constructed in the Laem Chabang district of Thailand. The warehouse is scheduled to be completed in August 2026.

The building is a single-story steel-frame structure consisting of a general warehouse, a hazardous materials warehouse, and an air-conditioned storage room. It is conveniently located just 12 km from Laem Chabang Port.
The floor load capacity is set at 2.5 t/m2, and the effective floor height is planned to be 10.0 m for the warehouse building and 6.0 m for the air-conditioned storage and hazardous materials warehouse buildings.
The facilities include CCTV cameras installed inside the warehouse, a raised dock leveler, and an all-weather handling area.
