On June 23nd, Hankyu Hanshin Express was selected by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government as a cargo agent for the 2025 project to promote air cargo transport utilizing SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel).
To reduce "Scope 3" CO2 emissions indirectly related to business activities, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government will subsidize additional costs incurred when companies registered in Tokyo use SAF (Safety Air Fuel) through freight agents.
As a result of being selected, companies in Tokyo that use SAF for air cargo transport via Hankyu Hanshin Express during the target period from July 2025 to March 2026 will be issued a "CO2 Reduction Certificate" and will also receive subsidies for additional costs incurred when using SAF.
