Japan Post , in collaboration with Open House Group, will host "September 1st is 'Disaster Prevention Day': A 2-Day Disaster Prevention Plaza Where Parents and Children Can See, Touch, and Learn!" for two days, August 31st and September 1st, at the "Tokyo City i Performance Zone" on the first basement floor of KITTE, which is directly connected to Tokyo Station.
Japan Post and Open House Group will have booths related to disaster prevention, while Coca-Cola Bottlers Japan, Sony Network Communications, Ezaki Glico, SoftBank, Brother Sales, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, and KNT-CT Holdings will also have booths.
At the Japan Post booth, visitors can experience thinking about actual disaster preparedness stockpiling while using "Disaster Prevention Yu-Storage," a service that allows users to store items needed in the event of a disaster in advance at a warehouse.

Disaster Prevention Yu Storage is a disaster prevention service jointly planned by Japan Post and Terada Warehouse, which began offering the service in February 2022. It allows users to store necessary or important items in advance at a warehouse located away from their residence in case of an emergency.
At the event, participants can collect stamps at each booth, and the first 500 people each day who complete the stamp rally will receive a "disaster preparedness kit" (not for sale) that will be useful in emergencies.
