Eat & Foods held a groundbreaking ceremony on August 7th in Miyakonojo City, Miyazaki Prefecture, to construct a new factory to strengthen its production system in the western Japan area. Construction is scheduled to begin in September 2025, with production to start in December 2026.

Under the purpose of "Creating an exciting future through food," and with the "+&" concept, the company aims to become a "food life planning company" that can bring color to life and healthy smiles to various food scenes. The company is striving for further growth as a member of society and is proceeding with construction toward completion with the goal of creating a factory that will contribute to employment for residents of Miyakonojo City and other neighboring areas.
Hiroyasu Nakata, president of Eat & Holdings, stated, "The new factory will be a manufacturing base that contributes to solving the '2024 problem' in the logistics industry by producing products using fresh raw materials from agricultural and livestock production areas and transporting them by sea to Osaka and Kobe. We currently have factories in Osaka, Gunma, and Okayama, but the new factory is in an excellent location from the perspective of risk diversification in the event of a disaster, and we believe it will greatly contribute to the continuity of our business."
