Emirates SkyCargo announced on August 13th that it has strengthened its transportation network from East Asia to destinations around the world.
With the launch of passenger flights to Hangzhou, China, we are now able to provide a transport capacity of over 21,000 tons per week on flights to and from East and Southeast Asia.
This will give the company the largest and most diverse route network of any airline based outside of Asia, currently connecting 25 cities across 12 countries and regions in the area.
In addition, the company operates 44 cargo-only flights weekly to nine cities in the region, as well as 13 charter flights weekly to and from East Asia.
In addition to its own network and transport capabilities, AirAsia has a strategic partnership with Teleport, its exclusive cargo partner, giving it access to over 100 airports across Asia. This provides Southeast Asian companies with benefits such as expanded transport capacity, increased flexibility, entry into new markets, and enhanced connectivity to Europe, the United States, and Canada.
Under its growth strategy for the next 10 years, Emirates SkyCargo will continue to position East Asia and Southeast Asia as key markets, expanding its transport capacity through increased flights and the opening of new routes.
