On July 7th, four companies—Dai Nippon Printing (DNP), All Nippon Airways (ANA), Secoma, and Nosato Shokai—began an initiative to use DNP's newly developed "DNP Multifunctional Insulated Box" to airfreight milk, yogurt, and desserts manufactured in Hokkaido from New Chitose Airport to Naha Airport on the same day, for sale in Okinawa Prefecture the following day.

The "DNP Multifunctional Insulated Box" used for transportation utilizes highly insulating and cooling materials and a structurally designed, airtight container that maintains a constant internal temperature for extended periods without using electricity during transport. Its container-type design, which accommodates one pallet, has doubled the transport capacity compared to conventional methods.
Since January 2024, ANA had been transporting some of Secoma's products from Wakkanai Airport to Okinawa Prefecture, but has now switched to shipping from New Chitose Airport, where larger aircraft are available, enabling container-based transportation.
Going forward, we will make effective use of the empty cargo space under the floor of domestic passenger scheduled flights during daytime hours to increase the number of transports, thereby contributing to the resolution of the "2024 problem" in logistics, and to build a stable transport system through long-distance high-speed transport using passenger scheduled flights.
The products included in the promotion are Sarobetsu milk, Toyotomi plain yogurt made with 100% Hokkaido raw milk, Toyotomi milk coffee, egg pudding, and milk pudding, all manufactured by Secoma in Toyotomi Town and Sapporo City, Hokkaido.
The transported goods will be sold from the following day at Fresh Plaza Union, a supermarket chain in Okinawa Prefecture operated by Nosato Shokai.
