On August 25, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism began accepting applications for the "Project for Surveys and Other Activities Related to the Transportation of Disaster Relief Supplies Using Drones" (a subsidized project).
Logistics companies, local governments, NPOs, and other related organizations will collaborate to subsidize the costs necessary for planning and surveying training on emergency relief supply transportation using drones during disasters. In addition, half of the costs for drone-related maintenance (equipment costs, flight route construction costs, etc.) and operational costs necessary for supply transport training will be subsidized.
The application period ends at 5:00 PM on September 24th (applications must be received by this time), and the project period is scheduled to run from the date of grant approval until February 13th, 2026.
