In addition to conventional rooftop installations, this project also serves as a demonstration experiment for installing solar panels on walls, making it a first for the Nichirei Group.
The Nichirei Group is promoting CO2 emission reductions with consideration for the global environment, aiming to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. The introduction of this system will broaden the options for locations where solar power generation systems can be installed, enabling the expansion of renewable energy utilization.
Furthermore, by consuming the electricity generated within the company, they aim to increase their self-sufficiency in renewable energy. They also stated that they will continue to work towards further reducing their environmental impact in order to realize a sustainable society.
