The Medical Logistics Efficiency Improvement Council, comprised of MediEntrance, which handles the supply of goods to medical institutions, as well as Phoxter, Ito Electric, and PAL, announced on August 22 that it has been selected for the "Logistics Efficiency Improvement Demonstration Project to Support Sustainable Logistics," a supplementary budget project for fiscal year 2024 promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
The subsidy aims to address the "Logistics Problem of 2024" and build a sustainable logistics system. The demonstration project will construct a next-generation medical logistics center and aim to achieve both increased efficiency in warehouse operations and reduced waiting times for delivery trucks by introducing AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) and conveyor systems.

MediEntrance has already established an automated warehouse and a stable supply system for medical facilities. This subsidy project will further improve operational efficiency by introducing additional AGVs (automated guided vehicles) and conveyor equipment.
They also stated that they will work to reduce waiting times for delivery trucks in anticipation of the 2024 problem, as well as to improve labor efficiency and sustainability.
