Yamato Logistics operates seven logistics facilities in Saitama Prefecture to build a logistics network in the Kanto area, where the volume of goods is high. To further strengthen its business base in the Tokyo metropolitan area, it will establish the "(tentative name) Wako Logistics Center" in Wako City, Saitama Prefecture, as its flagship base in the East Japan area.

To enable efficient loading and unloading operations, truck berths will be installed on two sides of the first floor to accommodate many trucks, and both sides of the truck berths will be located indoors so that operations can continue even in bad weather such as rain or strong winds.

In addition to having well-developed public transportation within the city and to central Tokyo, Wako City plans to install more than 100 employee parking spaces within the logistics center, creating an environment that can accommodate employees commuting by private car from outside the city, thereby ensuring the stable operation of logistics operations.
