Nishitetsu International Logistics Division (Nishitetsu) announced on August 26 that it has been selected for the first time as a cargo agent for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's 2025 "Project to Promote the Use of SAF in Air Cargo Transportation for Companies to Comply with Scope 3".
The Tokyo Metropolitan Government is supporting air cargo transport utilizing SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout companies' entire supply chains.
Air cargo transport through selected cargo agents will receive subsidies from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government for additional costs associated with using SAF (Safety Airflow).
