The "0123 SALES CONTEST 2025" is a competition where participants compete in sales skills to determine the number one moving salesperson (0123 Sales of the Year), and this year marks its fourth year.
The contest featured 20 participants competing in sales skills: 18 representatives who had won their regional qualifiers out of approximately 500 sales staff nationwide, and 2 who were entered into a second chance round.
In the first half, the 20 semi-finalists were divided into four groups for judging in order to select the four finalists.
In the semi-finals, participants competed in sales role-playing scenarios based on randomly selected situations, testing their sales skills.
Participants conducted business negotiations within a 30-minute time limit, eliciting the latent needs of the person playing the role of a customer in order to propose the best service for the customer. The four winners from each group advanced to the final round.
The final round was conducted in a role-playing style, with judges and approximately 120 managers gathered at the venue evaluating the participants.
The winner, Shomura, said, "I don't think many people expected me to win, but I feel like I've pulled off an upset. This has given me great confidence for my future sales activities."
