Goals provides cloud-based business services for restaurant companies and is driving digital transformation through AI-powered demand forecasting.

In this project, Sojitz Foods, which promotes the efficiency of logistics operations through demand chain management across the entire distribution network, and Delica Foods, which leverages its expertise in the procurement, processing, and supply of fresh produce to play a role in supply and demand adjustment and quality control in actual operations, will collaborate to conduct demonstration experiments aimed at optimizing the entire food supply chain.

Specifically, Goals will use data accumulated from "HANZO Automatic Ordering," an AI-powered demand forecasting service provided to each store of the Royal Group, to verify improvements in the accuracy of inbound and outbound logistics planning and inventory planning at the logistics center.

The data will also be used in Delica Foods' produce procurement and production plans to improve the accuracy of supply and demand adjustments and enhance the freshness of produce.

The pilot program began in August of this year, gradually expanding to include more business types and product categories while verifying its effectiveness in reducing storage space and improving inventory planning.

Furthermore, we aim to automate the entire supply chain—from automated ordering at stores to inbound/outbound and inventory management at logistics centers, and ordering by the purchasing department—in a data-driven and end-to-end manner.
