On August 27, Wakayama City announced that it had signed an agreement with Yamato Transport regarding the acceptance and delivery of relief supplies during disasters.

Under this agreement, in the event of a disaster in Wakayama City, Yamato Transport will, at the city's request, provide free services such as receiving relief supplies at supply bases and delivering them to evacuation centers.
