Logisteed announced on August 28 that its "Upper Arm Roll Call Demo Set Reusable Packaging Box" won the "Logistics Award" in the Packaging Technology category at the "2025 Japan Packaging Contest" hosted by the Japan Packaging Technology Association.
The award was given to a reusable packaging box developed for shipping demo units used in Logisteed Group's safe operation management solution, "SSCV-Safety," to users.
The demo unit consists of five components: an upper arm blood pressure monitor, an oxygen saturator, an autonomic nervous system monitor, a thermometer, and a smartphone. Previously, these were shipped in two separate cardboard boxes, but the newly developed packaging box allows the entire demo unit to be stored and shipped in a single box. It consists of a plastic corrugated outer box, a top pad, and a two-piece expanded polyethylene foam bottom pad.

By switching from two cardboard boxes to one reusable packaging box, transportation costs were reduced by 40%, and unpacking and repacking time was reduced by 60%. In addition, the addition of handle holes on the outer box has led to improved handling quality.
