On August 28, Hakobel announced that Yoshida Kaiun Logistics has implemented an operation at its Ogori Logistics Center that allows for remote truck registration by adopting Hakobel's "Truck Log" system, thus avoiding the formation of waiting lines.
<Case study of implementing truck log implementation at Yoshida Shipping Log Solutions>

Yoshida Kaiun Logistics Solutions began operations at its Ogori Logistics Center in 2020. Due to its location, the Ogori Logistics Center faced the challenge of not being able to set up a truck waiting area on the premises. To avoid queues forming around the site, it was necessary to introduce a system that could handle remote check-in. They chose "Truck Log" because it could handle the remote check-in they needed and allow them to create an operation that avoids queues.
By utilizing the remote reception function of the "Truck Log" system, a smooth flow from truck reception to departure was established, enabling operations that avoid surrounding traffic congestion. Since shipper and cargo information can be collected at the reception stage, the warehouse can proceed with assigning berths and preparing for unloading based on that information.
Furthermore, by aggregating the accumulated data, it's possible to determine approximately which day and time each type of service will arrive, allowing for the scheduling of shifts to allocate the necessary manpower according to the expected workload.
Currently, the system is only used for incoming trucks, but further efficiency improvements are being considered by expanding its use to outgoing trucks. Furthermore, because they handle frozen and refrigerated goods, which are often loaded loose and prone to box deformation, Yoshida Kaiun Logistics Solutions plans to work with shippers to implement measures such as palletization.
