Suzuyo announced organizational changes effective September 1st.
<Changes to the "Transportation Business Sales Department">
The "Transportation Business Sales Department" will be renamed the "Transportation Business Department." New sales functions for the transportation business will be consolidated into the Wide-Area Sales Promotion Office, which will serve as one of the regional organizations responsible for deepening relationships with existing customers, optimizing pricing, and managing the Tomakomai, Sendai, and Fujieda bases in the transportation business.
<Changes to the "Medical Logistics Business Promotion Office">
The "Medical Logistics Business Promotion Office" has been renamed the "Medical Logistics Sales Promotion Office," and the "Medical Logistics Operations Department" has been renamed the "Medical Logistics Business Department." The Medical Logistics Sales Promotion Office will now be responsible for new sales activities in the medical logistics business, while the Medical Logistics Business Department will be responsible for branch operations, including deepening relationships with existing customers and quality control.
<Changes to the "3PL Business Promotion Office">
The Quality Control Department will be integrated into the 3PL Business Promotion Department. By working in conjunction with the Profitability Improvement Team and the New Technology Implementation Promotion Team of the 3PL Business Promotion Department, a unified system will be established, leading to closer collaboration and improved safety and quality.
<Changes to "Shizuoka First Branch" and "Shizuoka Second Branch">
The "Shizuoka First Branch" and the "Shizuoka Second Branch" will be merged and renamed "Shizuoka Branch." Some of the operations handled by the Shizuoka First Branch will be transferred to the Second DC Business Division, and the division will shift to a system where large-scale DC customers near Shimizu Port are centrally managed. This centralized management will be implemented in the division with the aim of preparing for the next bidding process and strengthening the sales and operations system.
Other operations of the Shizuoka First Branch will be integrated with the Shizuoka Second Branch, and accordingly, the logistics centers in the Nagasaki area will be renamed "Nagasaki PJ Logistics Center," which will be managed by the Second DC Business Division, and "Nagasaki Logistics Center," which will be managed by the Shizuoka Branch.
