On August 27, SBS Holdings (HD) held "DEI TALK vol.01," an in-house roundtable discussion among female employees, as part of its DEI (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) activities.

With outside directors Sachie Tsuji and Chizu Sekine in attendance, one female employee from each of the eight SBS Group companies participated. Through interaction among female employees who could serve as role models, they shared feelings of loneliness and concerns, and identified challenges for working with heightened career awareness.
In the roundtable discussion, participants were divided into two groups to share their experiences and thoughts on the themes of "Difficulties for Women in the Workplace and Career Advancement" and "What We Can Do for the SBS Group." Each group then presented and shared their compiled opinions. In the subsequent Q&A session, they also consulted with outside directors about specific concerns.
Participants commented that "sharing my concerns made me feel more positive" and "the words of the outside directors became a guide for my career development," leading to the formation of cross-group networks and improved career awareness.
