Sagawa Advance opened "Disaster Prevention BASE," a disaster preparedness supplies management center in Koto Ward, Tokyo, on September 1st, which is "Disaster Prevention Day," in order to facilitate a rapid response and improve management efficiency during disasters.
Sagawa Advance leverages the comprehensive capabilities of the SGHD Group to provide services related to the procurement, management, and delivery of disaster preparedness supplies. For managing disaster preparedness supplies, they offer their own "Disaster Preparedness Supply Management System," which includes functions such as managing the expiration dates of food products and listing the locations of dispersed inventory.
"Disaster Prevention BASE" leverages the comprehensive capabilities of the SGHD Group to provide proposals to local governments and companies in response to their inquiries, and supports procurement, management, storage, operation, and delivery of supplies, as well as inventory management and redistribution using its unique "Disaster Preparedness Stockpile Management System," which is highly compatible with the Cabinet Office system.
In addition, we plan and develop new products, services, and events related to disaster prevention, and disseminate information through the launch of a web platform.
