On September 1st, Itoki relocated its Kansai Logistics Center to "GLP ALFALINK Ibaraki 3" in Osaka Prefecture, with the aim of improving logistics efficiency, and commenced operations there.

The Kansai Logistics Center supplies products to the Kansai region (Osaka, Kyoto, Hyogo, Shiga, Nara, and Wakayama prefectures). Having been in operation for approximately 50 years since its opening in October 1975, it faced challenges such as aging buildings and declining operational efficiency.

The relocation will allow the company to collaborate with the "Shiga Logistics Center" (Omihachiman City, Shiga Prefecture), which is responsible for supplying products throughout western Japan, and reorganize the supply network for western Japan.

The new facility will adopt a single-floor structure spanning 6611.57 m2 (approximately 2000 tsubo), shortening transportation times. This will improve delivery efficiency and enhance the working environment.

The new facility, "GLP ALFALINK Ibaraki 3," will operate as a core base that broadly covers the Kansai region (2 prefectures and 4 counties), taking advantage of its excellent location within a 30-minute radius of central Osaka, Kyoto, and Kobe.

In addition to easy access to major expressways such as the Meishin Expressway's "Ibaraki IC" and the Kinki Expressway's "Settsu Kita IC," the route also has easy connections with airports and ports, allowing for flexible handling of everything from long-distance transport to urban deliveries.

The facility will include an "operation room" to strengthen collaboration with external partners, a "co-creation office" to enhance internal collaboration and enable proactive work styles, and a "refreshment space" to contribute to improving staff engagement.
