Ridilover, a company that handles educational travel and other related businesses, held the "Next Generation Leaders Journey 2025 Summer" at the Seino Transportation Tokyo Branch on August 18-19, with 40 junior and senior high school students interested in social issues participating from the Kanto, Chubu, and Kansai regions.

Participants formed teams from across schools and, after visiting Seino Transportation's facilities and gathering input on future challenges, attempted to propose ideas to improve Seino Transportation's efforts to address social issues.

Participants commented, "I didn't realize that they were promoting the development and use of cutting-edge technologies such as hydrogen trucks and autonomous driving demonstration experiments, so it was very interesting," "Hearing from the voices of employees who actually work there allowed me to understand the relationship between the company and society, and their stance on solving social issues," and "It was a great source of pride to be able to convey our ideas and perspectives to people at Seino Transportation, one of Japan's top companies."
Ridilaba has been working to deepen the learning of junior and senior high school students by providing them with opportunities to experience social issues firsthand through its "SDGs/Social Issues Study Tours." For three consecutive years since 2023, it has mobilized more than 10,000 students annually, but participation was previously only possible through school events.
On the other hand, some participating students expressed a desire for a higher-level program, saying things like, "I want to interact with peers my age who are interested in social issues," and "I want to not only think about solutions to problems but also actually make proposals to companies and test my skills."
In response to these requests, this program was held during the summer holidays as a special event exclusively for those who "are interested in social issues and want to make suggestions to companies." From among the more than 130 tour destinations with which Ridilaba collaborates, Seino Transportation, which is pioneering efforts to solve social issues in the logistics industry, resonated with the idea and made it a reality.
A representative from Seino Transportation commented, "We are very pleased that the younger generation has come to understand that our lives run smoothly thanks to logistics, but that this is not something to be taken for granted. Many of the team presentations contained ideas that made our employees want to implement them, and we learned a lot from them as well."
