On September 2nd, Kokuyo Supply Logistics (KSL) announced the full-scale launch of its "Logistics x Industry-Academia Collaboration Project" for fiscal year 2025, revealing that the project will be expanded to the Chubu and Kyushu areas in addition to the existing Tokyo metropolitan area and Kansai area.

The project aims to deepen university students' understanding of and interest in the logistics industry through supporting their learning. Building on the industry-academia collaboration with universities that has continued since 2021, in fiscal year 2025 the project will evolve into a new approach that provides a more multifaceted perspective and practical learning by strengthening collaboration with local partner companies, government agencies, and local communities.
Specifically, we will continue our collaboration with Kinki University and Chiba University of Commerce, and expand to a nationwide network of four universities by adding Nagoya Gakuin University in the Chubu area and Kurume University in the Kyushu area.
For Nagoya Gakuin University, Kimura Unity is the partner company, the Aichi Transport Branch of the Chubu Transport Bureau is the sponsor, and Mitsubishi UFJ Bank is cooperating. For Kurume University, Kurume Transport is the partner company.
In its initiatives in the Chubu and Kyushu areas, KSL collaborates not only with universities but also with local partner companies and government agencies. The aim is to revitalize local communities and provide students with more practical learning opportunities.
By regularly releasing press releases on progress and results in conjunction with kick-off meetings and reporting sessions at each project location, which mark key milestones in the project's activities, the aim is to increase public interest in "the present and future of the logistics industry" and create a positive cycle that promotes the learning motivation and understanding of participating students.
