On August 29, Japan Marine United (JMU) delivered the Suezmax tanker "ADVANTAGE SMART," which it had built for ADVANTAGE SMART SHIPPING LLC, at its Ariake shipyard in Nagasu-machi, Tamana-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture.
This newly developed vessel offers even greater fuel efficiency than conventionally built ships. In addition to complying with EEDI Phase 3 and NOx Tier III standards, it is equipped with a SOx scrubber, making it an environmentally conscious design.
This next-generation Suezmax tanker combines years of accumulated tanker development know-how with cutting-edge technology, resulting in an energy-saving and environmentally friendly vessel.
