TOYOROBO announced on August 14th that it has entered into a business partnership agreement with SIG Service, a company whose main businesses are cross-border e-commerce and warehouse automation systems.
The partnership is aimed at the joint development of integrated software for warehouse management systems (WMS), warehouse control systems (WCS), and warehouse execution systems (WES).
In today's logistics industry, the expansion of e-commerce and the shift towards high-mix, low-volume production have led to fragmentation of inventory, transportation, and execution systems, increasing the complexity of implementation and operation. Therefore, the two companies aim to create a foundation that supports shorter on-site startup times, agile responses to peak demand fluctuations, and the utilization of existing assets, based on a design philosophy that balances integration with actual equipment and business requirements.
Furthermore, a closed beta test of the software is planned to begin in the first quarter of 2026, with general availability planned for the second half of 2026.
TOYOROBO President Mamoru Arai stated, "The challenge in logistics operations lies in the accumulation of individual optimizations. We will provide a system that enables the deployment of multiple locations and multiple vendors to proceed as planned through a standardized integrated platform. In collaboration with SIG Service, we will provide end-to-end support from requirements definition to implementation and operation, supporting decision-making that matches the speed of business."
