Since 2015, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism has been providing support for logistics human resource development in ASEAN based on the Japan-ASEAN Transport Cooperation Framework. From August 18th to 26th, 2025, they invited instructors from Sagawa Global Logistics to conduct an intensive logistics lecture for approximately 120 students at Nilai Technical College.
This intensive logistics lecture series followed those held at the National University of Laos in May and the University of Transport in Ho Chi Minh City in July. Officials from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism explained Japan's logistics policies and initiatives related to cold chain logistics services, while representatives from Sagawa Global Logistics provided lectures on logistics overview (SCM, 3PL, procurement logistics, production logistics, sales logistics, international logistics, etc.), practical logistics operations (business improvement with 5S in mind), and a tour of logistics facilities (X Frontier).
In addition, students presented new proposals (discussions) regarding logistics services in Malaysia.
