Sumitomo Warehouse has pledged to conserve biodiversity, and on June 1st, it signed an agreement with Hyogo Prefecture, Takarazuka City, and the Hyogo Greening Promotion Association regarding "companies' efforts to create forests." Starting this autumn, it will designate a section of the Hyogo Prefectural Takarazuka Nishitani Forest Park as "Sumitomo Warehouse's Forest" and carry out activities such as maintaining the satoyama (traditional rural landscape) forest.
