On October 1st, Sagawa Express will introduce a peak season surcharge for its Hikyaku International Express Delivery service to ensure stable international shipping services during periods of high cargo demand.
The applicable period is from October 1, 2025 to February 16, 2026 for shipments collected by Sagawa Express. The additional charges are 20 yen/kg for shipments originating from Japan to South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, etc., 140 yen/kg for Africa, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, 180 yen/kg for the UK, France, Germany, Spain, etc., and 230 yen/kg for the USA, Canada, Mexico, etc.

During peak seasons, a surcharge of half the above per-kilogram rate will be added for every 0.5 kg of the invoiced weight (weight as stated on the invoice) of the cargo.
Fuel surcharges are calculated by adding a peak season surcharge to the fare.
