On September 9, Seino Holdings announced the establishment of MD LOGIS CORPORATION INDIA (MDLI), a local subsidiary wholly owned by its subsidiary MD Logis, and the commencement of providing local logistics services, primarily warehouse operations.
MDLI is MD Logistics' eighth overseas subsidiary to operate its global logistics business.
This role involves handling all aspects of logistics, from inventory management, storage, picking, and shipping of finished products and components, at a new manufacturing base being constructed in India by a major client.

As manufacturing companies expand globally, MD Logistics' major clients are also strengthening their local production systems, particularly in India, and there was a need to develop logistics functions to accommodate this.
MDLI was established to build a system that can continue operations stably in accordance with local regulations, with a view to expanding the business in the future not only to handling logistics operations for major clients but also to selling to other companies.
MDLI leverages the expertise that MD Logistics has cultivated both domestically and internationally to handle the entire process from inventory management, storage, picking, and shipping of finished products and components from the local manufacturing bases of major clients.
MDLI plans to expand its international logistics operations further by collaborating with Seino Group companies (Seino MLL, HEX India, etc.) to provide comprehensive logistics services that combine warehousing, transportation, customs clearance, and international shipping within India, as well as expanding sales to Japanese companies other than major shippers and to local companies.
