Nippon Express opened and began operations at its new logistics base, "NX Wakayama Nishihama Logistics Center," in Wakayama City, Wakayama Prefecture, on September 1st.

The Nishihama area of Wakayama City is a region with a high concentration of chemical and manufacturing industries, leading to increased logistics demand. However, it also faced challenges such as a chronic shortage of warehouses and the aging of existing facilities. To address the increasingly diverse and sophisticated needs of customers and contribute to the development and expansion of local industries, a new center has been put into operation.

Located approximately 8km from the Wakayama Interchange on the Hanwa Expressway, and close to a concentration of manufacturing industries, this warehouse is ideally situated near the factory entrance, enabling it to provide efficient logistics services, such as just-in-time delivery linked to customers' production plans.
