On September 9, Fujitex announced that it had jointly developed "Carry Link," a trolley towing solution that streamlines transportation operations in warehouses and factories, with Logical Innovations and Monolith.
Simply attaching it to existing trolleys significantly reduces the burden on workers walking and streamlines transportation operations. Since there are no initial costs or large-scale construction projects, it contributes to alleviating labor shortages and improving productivity from the day of implementation.
According to the announcement, it is not uncommon for workers in warehouses and factories to walk several kilometers a day for transportation, and this physical and mental burden is a factor in decreased productivity and increased employee turnover.
To address these challenges, and amidst growing interest in AMRs (Autonomous Mobile Robots) and AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), we developed Carry Link as a new solution that eliminates the need for high initial costs and large-scale warehouse layout changes.
Its key feature is its low cost and significant reduction in the burden on workers walking. It can reduce the burden on workers by up to 9% simply by attaching it to existing carts.
It has a top speed of 10 km/h and can be intuitively controlled by shifting your weight. It can tow a load of up to 500 kg and can travel up to 30 km on a full charge.
