In its latest official note post, published on September 12th, Zero introduces the stories of two drivers who joined the company through its "referral recruitment system" (a talent acquisition method in which employees introduce friends and acquaintances), which was fully implemented in June.
The article begins with, "At Zero's Hiratsuka Customer Center, there is a junior-senior duo bound by a strong bond: Driver Tachikawa, a trailer driver in charge of vehicle transport, and Driver Waki, a two-car carrier driver." The article describes how Driver Tachikawa, who honed his skills for five years at a Toyota dealership, and Driver Waki, who has experience on the front lines of service and management, such as a supermarket manager and liquor store delivery driver, respect and encourage each other as colleagues in the same workplace as they carry out their daily work.

Driver Tachikawa, who himself joined Zero through a referral, was consulted by driver Waki, a senior from the same industrial high school, about changing jobs. After telling him that it was a comfortable working environment, he honestly shared the realities of the job, including the difficulties and hardships of being a driver.
Encouraged by his wife's words, "If Tajikawa-kun is working there, then it's okay," Waki, the driver who decided to join Zero, is currently working as a two-truck driver, responsible for delivering and collecting goods to dealerships and private homes.
The editor's notes state, "The sight of these two individuals with unique backgrounds thriving in the same workplace thanks to the referral hiring program symbolizes Zero's diversity. In particular, their mutual respect for each other's work and their warm desire to make the workplace better are impressive."
