ANA Holdings and Air Incheon announced that they have agreed to begin code-sharing on cargo flights operated by both companies between Japan and South Korea, starting September 15th.
The codeshare agreement between ANA and Air Incheon has made it possible for both companies to sell cargo space to each other. They aim to meet the growing demand for cargo transport by further improving convenience through their extensive route networks.
ANA Holdings will acquire all shares of Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) effective August 1, 2025. This will further evolve ANA Group into Japan's largest combination carrier, combining its extensive international network with NCA's strong large cargo network. Air Incheon also completed the integration of Asiana Airlines' cargo operations on the same day, becoming the second-largest cargo airline in South Korea. Following this integration, the airline announced a change of brand name to "AIRZETA" (currently awaiting government approval).
ANA and Air Incheon aim to provide high-quality, competitive services that can meet the cargo transportation needs of all customers through their aggressive business expansion and network partnerships. They also stated that they will provide new value to cargo demand between Japan and South Korea through further strengthening of their cargo businesses.
