On September 16, OrLinK announced the start of a collaboration with HEADZ, a company specializing in the development and implementation of transport systems.
The aim is to provide efficient logistics solutions by combining Orlink's expertise in WES (Warehouse Execution System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) software with Heads' technical capabilities in the hardware field.
The background to this collaboration is the strong demand for "labor-saving," "automation," and "efficiency" in the logistics and manufacturing industries. To achieve this, coordination between the hardware aspects of transport equipment such as AGVs and AMRs and the software aspects related to inventory management and transport control is essential, which led to this collaboration.
Leveraging the strengths of both companies, they aim to build a "next-generation smart factory system" that integrates conveying equipment and control systems, implement highly efficient warehouse operations by linking inventory management, equipment control, and conveying equipment in real time, and jointly develop customized solutions tailored to specific challenges.
