On September 19, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism announced the names of participating companies in demonstration experiments aimed at the social implementation of automated logistics roads in fiscal year 2025.
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is conducting demonstration experiments to build a new logistics system called "Automated Logistics Roads," which involves creating dedicated logistics spaces in road areas and transporting goods using unmanned and automated means of transport powered by clean energy, in order to address the logistics crisis and achieve carbon neutrality. They solicited applications from participating businesses from July 31 to September 5.
