The Japan Logistics Systems Association (JILS) will hold a "Practical Seminar on Inventory Optimization" on November 14th.

For shippers in manufacturing, distribution, and other industries, inventory is said to be directly linked to business management indicators, including cash flow.
To optimize inventory levels, efforts in the logistics sector alone will have limited effectiveness. It is necessary to consider the overall optimization perspective, including sales, production, and procurement, which are the main factors determining inventory levels.
The seminar will cover inventory management practices for shippers and key points for optimizing them, through a combination of lectures and exercises.
