Pal System Chiba will introduce its first electric vehicle (EV) truck at its Matsudo Center in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture, on September 26th. This will be the ninth EV truck introduced by the group.
The EV truck to be introduced at the Matsudo Center is the "ISUZU ELFmio" manufactured by Isuzu Motors, which can be driven with a regular driver's license and is equipped with features such as a "driver abnormality response system" that detects abnormalities by observing the driver's facial expressions.

Within the group, Pal System Tokyo was the first to introduce EV trucks in October 2024. Their performance, including a smooth ride with minimal vibration and quiet operation, has been well-received, making them suitable for cooperative home delivery in residential areas.
Currently, including vehicles owned by contracted partner companies, six vehicles have been introduced at Pal System Tokyo and two at Pal System Kanagawa. After considering the performance and track record of other EV truck models, Pal System Chiba decided to introduce the "ISUZU ELFmio."
