"DPL Malaysia Shah Alam III" is Daiwa House Industry's third logistics facility in Malaysia, and has been developed through its local subsidiary, Daiwa House Malaysia Logistics.
With a total floor area of 156,122 square meters, equivalent to approximately three Tokyo Domes, the facility is also equipped to handle the cold chain, a sector that has seen increasing demand in Malaysia in recent years.
It is located adjacent to the logistics facilities "DPL Malaysia Shah Alam I" and "DPL Malaysia Shah Alam II" developed by Daiwa House, approximately 27 km from the center of Kuala Lumpur, approximately 24 km from Port Klang, a key port on major shipping routes connecting Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Europe, and approximately 40 km from Kuala Lumpur International Airport.
The facility features 115 indoor, elevated truck berths and is equipped with dock levelers to ensure smooth unloading and efficient loading and unloading of goods regardless of weather conditions.
The building can accommodate up to 12 tenants, and the offices in each section are pre-finished so that tenant companies can use them immediately after moving in.
In addition to employing the "ESFR" sprinkler system, which allows for quick containment and extinguishing of fires to minimize damage, the building also features LED lighting throughout and is designed to accommodate the installation of a solar power generation system.
The facility prioritizes convenience and safety by providing an indoor parking lot for employees (484 spaces for cars and 515 for motorcycles) and an elevator that provides direct access to the parking lot. In addition, it has been designed to create a comfortable working environment for employees of tenant companies by installing one prayer room each for men and women in each section.
