The agreement aims to improve living conditions in evacuation shelters and facilitate the early recovery of citizens' lives during large-scale disasters by promptly procuring equipment and supplies for evacuation shelters and essential goods for those sheltering at home.
Isehara City has requested Trusco Nakayama to procure necessary supplies in the event of a disaster. By utilizing the company's diverse inventory and logistics network, and further through Marukoshi Steel Tools Isehara, the city will strengthen its system for quickly providing necessary supplies and equipment to disaster-stricken areas.
The signing ceremony was held at the company's logistics center, "Planet Minami Kanto."
This agreement marks the 13th such agreement nationwide and the third in Kanagawa Prefecture, following those of Yokohama City and Kawasaki City (as of September 2025).
