On September 17, Mitsubishi Estate established a branch office in Mumbai through its wholly owned subsidiary, Mitsubishi Estate Asia Ltd. Operations are scheduled to begin in October.

In India, the Mitsubishi Estate Group has expanded its business starting with an office building project in Chennai in 2023, and has since expanded to Bengaluru, the Delhi National Capital Region, and Mumbai, participating in a total of seven projects encompassing office, residential, and logistics facilities.

India is expected to continue growing due to its expanding middle class and large workforce, and there is a growing demand for diverse real estate, including logistics facilities, which led to the establishment of the branch office.

We aim to deepen our relationships with local communities, strengthen our involvement in existing projects, expand sourcing channels for new ideas, and localize our business and human resources.
