Cuebus will begin demonstration testing of its urban-type multi-level robotic warehouse system "CUEBUS" on February 2, 2026. This system was selected by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to implement "Use Case 2: Main Line Single-Road Section: Automated Driving of Transport Equipment" in the "Demonstration Experiment for Social Implementation of Automated Logistics Roads in FY2025".

The demonstration experiment will be conducted with the aim of verifying the technical challenges of CUEBUS and clarifying its operational conditions as an automated cargo handling device on a 500km automated logistics road (Autoflow Road) connecting Tokyo and Osaka.
Leveraging the automated transport technology cultivated through the development of its urban-type multi-story robotic warehouse "CUEBUS," the company has contributed to improving the efficiency and reducing the need for manpower in logistics. In this demonstration experiment, in addition to automating warehouse operations, the company will participate in a new area of "automating long-distance transportation," taking on the challenge of building next-generation logistics infrastructure.
Furthermore, "CUEBUS" is said to be the world's only urban-type three-dimensional robotic warehouse system that achieves three things: "ultra-high storage efficiency (no aisles required, storage possible up to the ceiling)", "ultra-high throughput (all shelves can be moved simultaneously and instantly)", and "ultra-high flexibility (simple configuration that allows anyone to easily install it anywhere in a short period of time)".
