Industry Alpha, a company that develops smart factory and warehouse solutions, announced on September 24th that it will rebrand its self-developed low-profile AMR (Autonomous Mobile Robot) "Kaghelo" as "Kagero".
"Kagero" is a low-profile AMR (Autonomous Mobile Vehicle) suitable for operation in the narrow aisles and limited spaces unique to Japanese manufacturing sites. It features a low-profile design that is compatible with confined spaces and cage trolleys, and is available in 500kg and 1000kg load capacity models.
Furthermore, a 1200kg payload model is scheduled to be released soon, and the company also boasts strengths in group control and expandability through integration with its proprietary FMS (Functional Management System).
The company plans to accelerate the deployment of "Kagero" to its manufacturing and logistics bases both domestically and internationally, and to establish implementation models in overseas markets through PoC (Proof of Concept) with local partners. It also envisions the potential of Japan-developed AMR in overseas markets.
