Kintetsu Express announced on September 24 that it has obtained IATA-CEIV Pharma certification, a quality standard for transporting pharmaceuticals, at three airports: Frankfurt, Germany; Amsterdam, Netherlands; and Brussels, Belgium.
The acquisitions were made in July by Kintetsu World Express (Deutschland), the German subsidiary, and Kintetsu World Express (Benelux), the Benelux subsidiary.

Strict temperature control and compliance with national regulations are essential for the transportation of life science and healthcare products, including pharmaceuticals. The three airports will serve as a major gateway in Europe for the Kintetsu Express Group.
In particular, KWE Benelux has been operating dedicated warehouses as a core hub for pharmaceutical logistics in Europe, providing logistics services that combine temperature control systems (15-25°C, 2-8°C, and -20°C) with regulatory compliance ensured by a dedicated team.
This certification will strengthen our ability to support our customers' supply chains more safely, reliably, and efficiently.
The group has already obtained CEIV Pharma certification at Narita Airport, and is in the process of obtaining certification at two more locations in Europe. Furthermore, it has obtained GDP certification at 12 locations in 10 countries worldwide.
