Logi Attendance System announced on September 24th that it has implemented "connec+" (Connect), a real-time fleet management function, into its attendance system for transportation associations, "Attendance Driver".
With the newly implemented "Connect" option, the driver's smartphone app and the administrator's PC screen are linked, allowing for real-time visualization of the vehicle's operational status.
From the administrator's perspective, they can track the current location of all drivers on a PC map, and by linking with the "Attendance Driver" system, they can constantly monitor remaining working hours and on-duty time. Even in the case of urgent dispatch requests, they can select the most suitable driver without the risk of violating any laws.
Furthermore, the ability to constantly monitor the driver's location enables optimal route instructions that take traffic congestion into account, as well as quick responses to customer inquiries.
From the driver's perspective, they can easily record detailed work tasks such as "loading" and "waiting for loading" with a tap on the smartphone app, and they can also check their working hours, driving status, maps, and traffic information at any time, making it easier to drive safely and carry out tasks in a planned manner.
The company cites the ability to view driver location information and real-time working hours from the attendance management system on the same screen as a unique strength of "Connect." This integration allows for optimal dispatching in line with current compliance requirements, not only by determining who is "nearby" but also by ensuring there are no issues with their working hours.
Going forward, the company plans to use "Connect" as a starting point to flexibly "connect" with various systems and services, thereby building an open platform that goes beyond the scope of attendance management.
