The Japan Logistics Systems Association (JILS) will hold an online seminar titled "A Super Beginner's Guide to Manufacturers' SCM" on October 21st.
The seminar aims to provide young SCM staff and newly appointed managers with a foundation in SCM, as well as an opportunity to learn about the connections between SCM and "finance," "demand forecasting," and "production management," and to consider appropriate "next steps" by gaining an overview of manufacturers' activities from a global standard SCM "perspective."
During the seminar, participants will receive one copy of "Complete Illustrated Guide to Manufacturers' Work: Demand Forecasting, Product Development, Inventory Management, Production Management, and Logistics Systems" by Diamond, Inc. as supplementary text.

Participation fee: 38,500 yen (tax included) for JILS members, 55,000 yen (tax included) for non-JILS members.
