On September 25, Mitsubishi Warehouse announced that it had signed an agreement with Kansai Electric Power and KDS Solar regarding the supply and receipt of electricity through a corporate PPA (Power Purchase Agreement).
The scheme involves KDS, the power generation company, generating approximately 990 kW of solar power, and Kansai Electric Power, as the retail electricity provider, supplying renewable energy-derived solar power to Mitsubishi Warehouse's logistics facilities at its Osaka branch (9 locations) and Kobe branch (3 locations), for use by Mitsubishi Warehouse.

The agreement will enable Mitsubishi Warehouse to secure a long-term, stable supply of renewable energy.
By using solar power, we expect to reduce GHG emissions by approximately 800 tons of CO2e per year compared to electricity generated from conventional fossil fuels.
