On September 29, the Agricultural Research Institute announced that it will revise its shipping fees and barcode label unit prices starting November 1.

The Agricultural Research Institute collects shipping fees from producers to cover logistics costs for delivering agricultural products to supermarkets. Due to recent increases in logistics costs, the institute has been revising its shipping fees, and will now be reviewing them in some areas.

Furthermore, while we currently sell barcode labels to producers at 1 yen per label, due to rising material costs, we regretfully must revise the unit price at which we sell them.

Shipping fees are 10.5% in the Tokai area (previously 8.5%) and 250 yen + 5.5% in the Wakayama area (previously 250 yen + 3.5%). Barcode labels are 2.0 yen per label nationwide (previously 1.0 yen per label).
